What age groups are eligible to play travel?

Rising Star Travel focuses on U10 through U15 age groups effective in the Fall.

What is the benefit of playing travel vs. playing rec soccer?

Rec soccer is a fantastic experience for many soccer players, but many times players are ready for the next step in competition.  Travel soccer provides an experience for those players ready to take the next step in their soccer growth to help prepare them for middle school and high school soccer teams. Rising Star Travel provides a way for soccer players in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District a local, inexpensive travel soccer club to help prepare them for the next level!

How often and when are travel practices and the travel season?

Practices are generally from the beginning of August through October in the Fall and the beginning of March through May in the Spring.  Practices are generally twice a week and are held at either the Lebanon Valley Expo Center or Snitz Creek Park.

What is the cost for the travel team?

The cost is $400 annually for the travel team.  This covers all fees as well as uniform costs for the Fall and Spring seasons.  A $100 deposit is required to accept a spot on the team, with the remaining $300 due in August before the Fall season start.  This also covers the cost for each team to participate in one tournament.

What are the travel demands for Rising Star Travel?

Rising Star participates in the Central Penn Youth Soccer League (CPYSL).  Most travel is no more than one hour to locations such as Harrisburg, York, Lancaster.  All travel teams play 4 away games in the Fall and 3 or 4 in the Spring.  All practices are local at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center or Snitz Creek Park.  All Rising Star Travel home games are at Snitz Creek Park.

Rising Star's Travel Program is returning for the 2024/2025 season!  Our travel program is open to all players within and around the Cornwall-Lebanon School District looking to play travel.

Our travel teams participate in the Central Penn Youth Soccer League (CPYSL).

Tryouts will be held on Friday, May 2nd for Girls and Sunday, May 4th for boys.

Rain date/make-up date will be Friday, May 9th.

Tryouts will be held at the Rising Star Fields at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center.
